AirBNB Starter Kit for Ultimate Guest Comfort - Part Two
Kickstart your AirBNB with Hotel-Quality Terry &  Linen

Let’s pick up where we left off with our tips for starting up your AirBNB with hotel-quality bed and bath linens. We’ve covered how to provide a memorable night’s sleep to gain repeat customers—now let’s look at how to recreate the hotel experience with the bathrooms linens, and accessories as well.

Most new AirBNB hosts are a bit lost on how to choose the right bath linens and complementary products, which is understandable—luckily we’ve been designing and creating bath linen products for the accommodations sector for over 75 years, and we’ve learned a thing or two—that we’re happy to share.

Are The Towels I use at home good enough?

Probably not. The same as with bed linens, the materials used to produce bath linens make a huge difference for both softness and durability. For towels, there’s the third aspect to consider which is absorption. High-quality hotel towels feel soft, plush, are super absorbent, plus are made to withstand frequent washes. Something you buy at a home store probably isn’t going to achieve all of those things, at an affordable price point. To learn more in-depth about cotton versus polyester, the right weight for towels, and how they’re made, check out our previous blog post here.

Quick tips for care and maintenance

- Use techniques like low-temperature wash programs.

- Avoid harsh chemicals like bleach.

- Follow proper care instructions.

- Choose towels with hemming that won’t easily unravel. Eden towels have multilayer or double folded sides, and end hems with double stitching, to prevent opening or unraveling.

How Many Sets do I need?

As we touched on in Part One, hotels use a system called linen per available room (PAR) stock or par levels, which is the count of each kind of towel per room that they will have on hand at any given time.

Typically the par stock for linen should be 2.5 to 3 pieces of each kind per room. Having adequate par levels is based on the laundry cycle, replacements, and also emergencies or unexpected events. You always want to have enough bath linens on hand to provide a comfortable, convenient, and hotel-feeling kind of experience.

What is a Proper Set of Towels for an AirBNB?

To truly recreate a hotel experience, you should invest in a full set of bath linens, which includes bath towels, hand towels, face cloths, and bath mats.

Bathrobes and slippers add a luxurious touch as well, which we highly recommend.

Make the Rooms Look Good

Along with the practical use for hospitality bed and bath linens, they provide an opportunity to help decorate a room. Bath linens with decorative borders can help make the bathroom look more attractive and well-put-together.

Products like decorative top sheets (check out our collection here) help make the bedroom come together, looking both professional, luxurious, and visually appealing. And don’t forget about decorative pillows for added colour and texture.

Conclusion

At Eden Textile, we’ve been developing and designing hospitality-grade bath linens for over 75 years. Our goal is to produce luxurious yet durable products, always with the guests’ comfort in mind. Look through our bath product lines here, and feel free to reach out for more information.
