The Hypnos Story

Choosing a bed is a very personal decision, one not to be undertaken lightly. When you consider one third of your life will be spent in bed, it only makes sense to spend that time in Royal Comfort.

HYPNOS is a family run company that has been producing handmade beds for over four generations. Peter Keen, Chairman and great grandson of the original founder, still uses the traditional methods of hand - crafting that HYPNOS has built its reputation on since their very first day of existence. Craftsmen, many of whom have worked at HYPNOS since their apprenticeship, produce each bed using the skills that have been handed down through the generations.

HYPNOS' philosophy of quality, comfort and uncompromising attention to detail has awarded the company the Royal Warrant. To be a Warrant Holder, you must first supply the Royal Household with unrivalled quality, faultless products or services for five consecutive years. Head of the Royal Household, currently Queen Elizabeth II, then advises on all of the Royal Warrants issued. Thereafter the product is tested every year and the Warrant is reviewed every five years.

To this day, only the finest quality products are associated with the Royal Warrants. Other Royal Warrant Holders include: Rolls Royce & Bentley Motorcars, Royal Doulton and Jaguar Motorcars.

Extra heavy frame made from 1.5" angle iron. Features headboard brackets and reinforced leg shanks plus an extra centre cross support.

Linwood Bed Base

This handsome wood base features three steel cross supports and adjustable retaining brackets to hold bed firmly in place. High quality, no tools required for assembly.

Designed specifically to keep your mattress looking like new, this protector is made from a 50/50 cotton-polyester blend and T200 percale sheeting, with a 4oz thermally bonded polyester fibre filling. Machine washable.
